Every time I visit this restaurant, I feel a sense of comfort thanks to the warm and welcoming owners. Their kindness and sincerity are unmatched. The food is truly exceptional — from the rice and meat to the baklava and grape leaves, everything has a special flavor you won’t find anywhere else.✨️✨️ I highly recommend this place.
Al Aqsa is one of my favorite restaurants in Salem. The owners are a delight and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.
Absolute Salem treasure. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Perfectly seasoned meat, great sides, and some of the best hummus I’ve had locally. We’re lucky to have a spot like Al Aqsa in our community. Highly recommend!
Watched the owner not wash his hands before making my orders. Then argued with me about how he doesn't need to wash his hands. No refunds and my food is now suspect. The food looks revolting.
Tried AlAqsa in Salem and honestly, it was amazing. I grabbed a coffee and the lamb shawarma plate, and both hit the spot. The lamb was tender, full of flavor, and tasted like real Palestinian home cooking. The sides were fresh and everything was seasoned just right. The vibe is welcoming and the owners are super friendly — you can feel the pride they put into their food. If you want authentic Palestinian flavor in Salem, this place is the real deal. This place is very unassuming from the street and honestly I never even thought to try it because of this. That was a mistake because this place is delicious!! I got the lamb shawarma rice plate and it came with a salad, tzatziki and a spicy sauce. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I also tried the hummus plate and it was the best hummus I've ever had. The woman who served us was polite and helpful. I can't wait to go back and try something else.
I ordered the lamb shawarma rice plate and my husband ordered the lamb shank and can honestly say that it’s one of the best we’ve ever had. The rice and meat had so much flavor, big portions as you can see in the photos, and price is reasonable. The owner was also very friendly. We will definitely come back.
